Beauty is in the Eye of the Beholder.
sometimes i see a person, or even a picture of a person & they have something about them... facial features, hair, style, a pretty smile, maybe even a way of carrying themselves? just SOMETHING about them makes me think or kinda stare because beauty radiates from them. maybe these people aren’t really “mainstream” beautiful at all, but that doesn't seem to matter. often somebody's vibrant personality or humor can really tickle my fancy as well, & they immediately stand out from the crowd. i'm sure most of you know what i'm taking about! :) well, then sometimes the opposite occurs. i see a person that falls more into the “main stream beautiful” category and they seem just... alright. i get that they are "attractive" but TO ME, personally, i don't feel it. that certain something doesn't vibe with my vibe. which leads me to the saying, "beauty is in the eye of the beholder" & how TRUE that really is. weird.
everyone really SHOULD perceive themselves as beautiful no matter what flaws they may feel cursed with. there are definitely others out there that think you are SUPERB, regardless of what self esteem issues you may have.
i don't care what or who you are, you have the ability to radiate a magnificent vibe :-)
advice i have to give to those in a slump, is NEVER stop TRYING! i know sometimes certain peeps feel down in the dumps and start maybe not caring as much what they look like, i've been there. always keep in mind, how you present yourself is what people will notice when they first see you. simply~ try to dress nice, if you need a lil makeup~ slap some on! get your hair did or find a sweet/easy hairstyle that works for you. walk proud with your head up, hair out of your eyes, make direct eye contact with others! BE CONFIDENT. SMILE! (people usually smile back). ;-)
all these little things might seem somewhat insignificant but they really work wonders. not only do they help others see the light in you, they help you feel heaps better about yourself. believe me. <33
i guess it makes me sad to see others...(particularly woman), constantly cut themselves down because they don't feel "perfect" enough. well nobodies perfect, this we all already know. it's really grasping the concept that makes the difference! embrace whatever about you makes you different & maybe you'll even encourage others to do the same :)
a few random beauties i fancy~
